Åsa Herrgård has throughout the years worked with many different techniques and directions, but mainly we know her as a sculptor. During her later years she has worked with three-dimensional pieces and land art in huge scale, where the forms
emanate from her own body, its movements and the influence of nature.
The sculpture Gyllene cirkel ("Golden Circle") that was exhibited at the mountainslope by Udden Skulptur, 2018-19, was such a piece. It was all of 11 meters in diameter and the thin circle of gold captured the suns last rays, something that gave a echo during dusk.
